Introduction
From version 7.0 it is possible to add a summary description for the credential template. This can be useful to remind those persons who will use the templates what functionality they actually provide.
This feature will only be available for operators/helpdesk persons who issue on behalf-off from the Agent or Admin applications.
Configure Description
From Templates - Credential Templates select an already created template and click the Edit link for General.
Click the Description button beside Comment. This will open a configuration like below. It is possible to add formatted content using HTML. We have limited HTML support so adding basic content tags like below is possible. You should keep the content short and precise for maximum benefit.
Additionally it is possible to add links within the content. This can be useful where it is required to link to a more detailed internal guide/document that describes the template in more advanced details as to what can be performed with the template. This can be done by adding a tag like below for example:
<p>For more detailed instructions click <a href="launch:https://versasec.com">here</a>.</p>
where "launch:https://versasec.com" is a link to some external resource.
Then from Agent (or Admin) application when selecting the template you will see the description similar to below.
